Today was the dedication day for the Draper Temple.
Since my daughter was sick, I could not make it.
I guess I choose not to make it.
It's been 26 days, since Ken's passing.
It's been the toughest time in my life.
I've never been this weak before.
But at the same time, I've never felt the Spirit of comfort this close.
It still aches like somebody just cut off one of my arms.

Each of us will have our own Fridays—those days when the universe itself seems shattered and the shards of our world lie littered about us in pieces.
We all will experience those broken times when it seems we can never be put together again. We will all have our Fridays.
But I testify to you in the name of the One who conquered death—Sunday will come. In the darkness of our sorrow, Sunday will come.
No matter our desperation, no matter our grief, in this life or the next, Sunday will come.
(Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin New Era March 2008)
